Bloc voting is simply delivering the accumulation of individual votes as one "Block." Bloc voting at WeTheFans.com is the equivalent of delivering a petition to the leagues, only better. A petition is a "block of signatures" to get an issue put on the ballot. The WeTheFans.com Bloc Vote is the "signatures," the "issues," the "ballot," and "results" all in one.

Right here at WeTheFans.com, the issues are brought to the table and discussed (through editorials, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and Email) from every possible perspective. The issues will be put on the ballot and a vote held. The position with the most votes will be considered the "Official" WeTheFans.com position and the Site will send the issue and its outcome to the appropriate party with the full consent of the Fans Union. For example, if WeTheFans believe there should be a salary cap in MLB, the issue would be debated by the Membership (via the Site's various means) and a Voted on. If the Vote is in favor of a cap, WeTheFans.com would forward that position to MLB and the Player's Union as a "redress of grievances." Accordingly, it would be crystal clear to both parties that 100% of the Members of WeTheFans.com fully endorse that position and are prepared to "back it completely." NUMBERS x THE VOTE = POWER!!!!

Now, since WeTheFans are "negotiating," there would be a "sanctioning action" we would vote on that we would HAVE TO BE PREPARED TO CARRY OUT, if necessary. This is where WeTheFans gets taken seriously. It could be a "boycott," a "TV blackout" (the leagues have them, why can't we?), or "merchandise strike" for example. Regardless of the action, it will come from the vote of the Membership and carried out with 100% participation. Startin' to "FEEL THE POWER" that the NFL always boasts? Well, that power isn't even close to the POWER the FANS REVOLUTION is going to bring!
