The Pats are the only Week 17 COLDEST D to make it to the Super Bowl. And they proved resoundingly that COLD D freezes the HOTTEST O! But what will it do against average O? The bigger question is what will Carolina’s D do with New England’s O? That’s where the Panthers can win this game.

Let’s hear it for New England. The Pats are the only Week 17 COLDEST D still in the Playoffs. And who better to prove that COLD D against than the HOTTEST O? What more could we ask for? The Eagles have the second COLDEST D and it helps that the Panthers have the fourth HOTTEST O. But unfortunately for the Eagles, the Panthers have a pretty COLD D themselves.

Only two of the teams with the COLDEST D are headed to the post-season. So it will be interesting to see if either New England or the Cowboys win the Super Bowl as the old saying goes, “Defense wins championships.” New England became the only team to have the same points against total in consecutive weeks. Now that’s COLD D to end the regular season.

The Buccaneers are now the only team to have the COLDEST D three weeks in a row, but are out of the play-offs. New England has won 11 in a row with the second COLDEST D. The Dolphins’ D is COLD, but hasn’t been enough to get them a play-off berth yet. The Cowboys’ D just might be COLD enough to get them a Division Title.

The Buccaneers became the only team to have the COLDEST D in consecutive weeks. With 201 points at Week 15, it is downright frozen. New England’s snow keeps the team’s O chilly, but they keep winning with COLD D. The Bills’ and Dolphins’ D can’t get much more frigid, so there goes the ol’ “Defense wins championships.” They can’t even win games.

The Dolphins beat the Cowboys and took their spot with the COLDEST D. The Bills weigh with the second COLDEST D, but third in the AFC East. The Buccaneers keep falling in the NFC South, but their COLD D stays at Number 3. The Broncos have fought their way back into the play-off picture with the fourth COLDEST D in the NFL.

The Dolphins have the COLDEST D, but their O is chilly too. Although the Chief’s Special Teams have overshadowed its D, it’s obviously VERY COLD. The Cowboys have been getting it done with COLD D, but the Browns aren’t because the O is much colder.
