DON'T HAVE IT? CAN'T LISTEN. GET REAL!

R.I.P.

YOUR LYING EYES
Watching the game at a Super Bowl party, I was crying over EVERY bad call against the Seahawks. Then I was crying at the end of the game when the party was supposed to be just getting started. Then I was crying on the drive home as I thought about all the bad calls. OK, I wasn't really "crying"...

MADD MATT
Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck spoke at the rally, but kept it pretty straight forward. But when he was on sports radio the next day, he decided to really cut loose and let is fly. I was able to get a bootleg copy, so here's the losing quarterback of Super Bowl XL, censored unnecssarily or as I call it, "Matt Hasselbeck with seven second delay OFF!"

DRY YOUR EYES
NFL officiating has been crazy shaky this season, no doubt. And it was even shakier in the post-season, as the Steelers know. And now shakiest in Super Bowl XL and costing the Seahawks 14 points in my estimation. But the Seahawks cost themselves 26 points; by themselves. The refs didn't hand the game to the Steelers, they just helped the Seahawks do it.

THE TRUTH IS RIGHT HERE
OK, I've heard enough on sports radio in Seattle this week. Everything from the incompetent refs, to a ref from Pittsburgh, to "follow the money-NFL marketing strategies-to sell more gear-X-File-ish" scenarios. I've heard protests, boycotting, class-action lawsuits, but the truth as been here all along.

ESPN'S TOP 10
Their number two is my number one. Otherwise, I can't believe my Seahawks got their first playoff win in 21 years and appear four times on ESPN's Top 10 Plays the Postseason. 10-5-3-1 are my numbers at Emerald Downs this season.

MIKE BLEEPN' HOLMGREN
Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren was saying one thing to the officials in the Super Bowl yesterday and another about them during a Seahawks Fan Rally at Seahawk Stadium today. Inspired by Jimmy Kimmel Live's "This Week In Unnecessary Censorship" I present a Digital Commandos bootleg of Mike Bleepin' Holmgren.

OFFICIALLY SPEAKING
"The game was properly officiated, including, as in most NFL games, some tight plays that produced disagreement about the calls made by the officials," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in a statement. Where is Paul Tagliabue when you want to see him? Which reminds me, has anyone ever seen Greg Aiello, or does he just eMail it in?

FOUR FACES OF FANS
Outrage. Sadness. Indignation. Disbelief. Every picture tells a story, but this picture tells four stories. And though there are thousands of Seahawk fans, with thousands of different stories, there are only four stories they are all telling.

MAN UP
If you've been listening to sports radio in Seattle, this is for you. If you've been calling sports radio in Seattle, this is for you. If you agree with what you've been hearing on sports radio in Seattle, this is for you. If you disagree with what you've been hearing on sports radio in Seattle, this is for you.

METTLE COUNT
Jesse Owens, Berlin, 1936. Tommy Smith, John Carlos, Mexico City, 1968. Shani Davis, Torino, 2006. Starting to ring a bell? If not, I'll ring one Byant Gumble didn't.
